Late 1960's - early 1970's - Rock acts including Janis Joplin, Jethro Tull and Alice Cooper (see posters below)
1973 - "Scorpio" - Parts filmed inside Alexandria Roller Rink with Jimmy Boyce at the organ. (see video link below)
1979 - Financial problems - Temporarily closed and sold its 11-ton Wurlitzer Opus 2178 pipe organ.[1]
(Wurlitzer Opus 2178 pipe organ originally came from the Rockefeller center .)[6]
1980 - New owners - Marcus Ray and Sam Gilyard[1] (They installed huge speakers and played Top 40 hits)
1986 - Closed
