• 1943/4 - Skateland became Danceland, sponsored by VFW.^[4]
• By 1947, Simply known as VFW Club & Cafe.^[5]
• 2012 - "After Ron Ballard helped secure a $1,500 grant and purchased 433 square feet of carpeting for VFW Pelican Post 1383, he and other post members began tearing up the facility's old carpet. They made a surprising discovery - hardwood floors."^[5]
