1921 - Warnoco Park opens as Sall's Gardens at 1403 2nd St. in Greeley with a roller-skating rink, swimming pool and merry-go-round.
1935 - Warrack Norcross buys Sall's and renames it "Warnoco," a combination of Norcross' first and last names. In the '30s, a little rink is used for skating in the winter and dancing in the summer.
1948 - A larger rink, 160 by 80 feet, is built with a curved hardwood skating floor.
1980 - Warnoco West opens at 5807 20th St. The floor becomes the largest in northern Colorado at 175 by 80 feet.
1988 - Hole in the West, an 18-hole miniature golf course, opens at Warnoco West.
1996 - Warnoco North ends public session skating and becomes the Warnoco Sports Center.
2002 - J.W. Norcross sells Warnoco North to the Greeley Urban Renewal Authority.
2004 - Warnoco West closes.
2006 - A contractor estimates it will take $1.2 million to make the Warnoco North building salvageable.
