History Timline
• 1910-1953 - The Armory was built & used by the Washington National Guard and Army Reserve.
• 1953-1989 - The main floor of the building became the Rolladium.
• 1972 - Western purchased the property from the state.
• 1989 - After the rink closed, it was used to house furniture as well as sets
and costumes for the University's theater department.
• 2016 - The building was transferred to the WWU Foundation.
• 2018 - The Western Washington University Foundation sold the landmark Armory building.
